Home Hospitality for the Chagim

Many in our community will be without family for the chagim or without a Sukkah to eat in over Sukkot. We would like to help connect those who would like to hosts guests at their table with those who desire to be hosted.

Thank you in advance for opening up your home! You will be contacted directly by our Hospitality Committee to find out how many people you can host each meal.

Volunteers Needed for the Chagim

Volunteers are needed for multiple critical needs over the next few weeks. Please select one or more areas in which you (and family members) can assist in creating a wonderful holiday experience at YITH.

Thank you for volunteering your time to make the chaggim a meaningful time for all!

Yamim Noraim Fund

Your donation to this fund helps to offset the cost of the chagim, including the cost of operations, paid security over the holidays, decor, Simchat Torah treats and more. Suggested donation of $54

Yizkor Book

The Yizkor Service, held during Pesach, Shavout, Yom Kippur and Sukkot, is a time to remember those who are no longer physically in our lives, but who still remain forever in our hearts and memories. Our tradition is to put together a beautiful Yizkor memorial book, which contains both traditional and supplemental prayers, as well as giving our community the opportunity to memorialize their loved ones by giving tzedakah in their name.

If you would like to include a memorial tribute in this year's Yizkor Book please complete the form below:

High Holiday Childcare Registration

As in the past, all children must either be in shul with their parents or in supervised child care. In order for us to have a meaningful davening where parents do not need to worry about the safety and welfare of their children, we are offering supervised childcare and Yom Tov programming for children ages 1 through 5th grade. Games, balls, jump ropes, books, water and snacks will be provided. Parents are encouraged to pack a lunch for their child. Families may also bring games, books, and puzzles to share.
In order to have accurate ratios and safe supervision for all children, we NEED you to sign up your children on the form below. Childcare will run during all of shacharit and mussaf of Rosh Hashanah and every davening (Kol Nidre, Shacharit, Mussaf, Mincha and Neilah) of Yom Kippur.
Given the varying caregiver:child ratios required for different ages, we have determined that the cost for childcare for each child for Kindergarten and under will be $75 for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur (or $40 per holiday, if you will not be here for one Yom Tov). The cost for children 1st grade and up will be $50 per child ($40 per holiday).
